Empowering women at the grassroots
On graduating, Shravani Hagargi’s parents presented her only 3 options — either go for higher studies, get a 9-5 job, or get married. She choose to forge her own path, setting up a social enterprise in Hubli that empowers hundreds of marginalized women to take up security personnel jobs.
Recorded at INK2014, Mumbai
