Sabika Abbas Naqvi: Reclaiming public spaces through poetry

Sabika Abbas Naqvi is a Performative Poet and the founder of ‘Sar-e-Rahguzar: Poetry on the Streets’. Her work revolves around intersectionality, gender, minority, LGBTQI+, and other progressive rights. Naqvi writes in Urdu, Hindi, Hindustani, and English and believes in subverting public spaces with her poetry and storytelling. As an educator she helps create and translate nclusive school curriculums based on social and emotional learning. She is a campaigner, and soon to be author, with two books swt to be released shortly. She currently works at change.org.
